I “let slip the dogs of war”
when endeavoring to justify the concept
that possession is nine-tenths of the law
but I am ravaged
when observing that moral rightness
laid to rest
beckons conjecture to be nine-tenths
of a justifier’s ordinance.

Conjecture is indeed what all too often happens in our go-go, “I don’t have time to find out what really happened”, “me, me, me” societies today.
